[Community] ZODB based data stores

Hi

As you all know PrimaGIS currently supports using spatial data from ZODB 
through IGeoAware and PrimaGISDataLayers. While the current 
implementation works fine for small quantities of features it doesn't 
scale up well. It also has some other implementation specific details 
that I'm not satisfied with and thus I am planning on a refactoring of 
the the whole "data layer" concept.

I've written up an initial user story in the wiki at

It is not a ready-made plan on how things will be done but more of a 
collection of ideas that I've had on this subject. Therefore, I would 
like to open up a discussion on the matter and get some feedback from 
everybody. Hopefully we can then refine the user story into something 
worth implementing :) I'm open to all ideas and suggestions!
