I saw some api changes already committed, so I was warned
but your hints are quite helpful.
I guess that for Thuban's wms.ps Extension is would be much better to move
to owslib. Of course an api that is reasonably stable would be helpful,
so I might just wait for it.

ps.: I still suggest you properly indicate that pyogclib is abandoned and
point it over here.
